What is the skill level for the league?

This league is a lower intermediate skill level, bridging the gap between the D and C leagues so that D players don’t move into the C level before they’re ready. This league will be a mix of high D (D+) and low C (C-) level players.

This is a good skill level for players who haven’t played hockey since high school or are getting back into the game after some time off the ice. This league will also appeal to players with several years of D league experience whose skills have exceeded the D level and D league players who want a faster pace of play.

This is also a great fit for senior C-level players who are looking to slow down their game.

This league is not tailored for beginner level skaters.

The point is to play in the league that matches your skill level so it is enjoyable for all.  If you're a much more skilled player than everyone else then your emphasis should be on teaching those around you to be better and focusing more on passing than scoring.  The league reserves the right to move players between teams and leagues to create greater balance.  If you are near the top of the goal scoring list then you should self-select into a higher league or seek counseling for your confidence issues.  The same holds true for teams which should seek to be a mix of skills appropriate for their league.
